We were approached by a client, formerly the chef of a well-known restaurant in Moscow. He was preparing to launch his first business - the production and delivery of meals and rations in the Moscow region (the regional center and nearby cities)
The client determined the promotion strategy - through Vkontakte. And the target audience was the segments of people who are tired of sushi / pizza and do not have free time to cook.

In total, at the time of writing the case, more than 390 ads were tested (of which at least 100 are unique). Conventionally, images for promo in this project can be divided into two categories: "People" and "Food". After 12 months of campaigning, it's safe to say that a promo featuring food, i.e. product itself, show the best result.
The audiences "Public Fitness", "Wide female audience", "Proper nutrition", CI "Sport" and CI "Cookery" also worked well. The rest of the audiences, unfortunately, performed worse or frankly badly. Many of these have been rechecked on successful ads.

RESULTS
Good results were obtained by seeding in publics of the promotion region. We tested both standard reach post and promotions. We agreed to be placed in several pubs at once in order to gain coverage and increase company awareness
In promoting to a narrow geo, the problem advertisers face is audience burnout. To solve this problem, we used dozens of creatives with impressions to the same target audience groups.
When taking out the food preparation and delivery business, it is important to take into account the high competition in this niche (the surge after the pandemic and the related increase in demand is especially characteristic)
